Housekeeping Specialist
Position Summary
Bridgeway Dynamics is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist for a client in Branson, Missouri. The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while meeting high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and understands that the small details make a big difference in the guest experience. This position typically requires cleaning 10–15 guest rooms per day, including bedrooms, bathrooms, linens, and common areas as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Guest Room Cleaning
-Clean and prepare approximately 10–15 guest rooms per day according to established housekeeping standards.
-Thoroughly clean bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, fixtures, and other areas of guest rooms.
-Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
-Clean and disinfect toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, and bathroom fixtures.
-Change and properly make beds using fresh sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and other linens.
-Replace towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities as needed.
-Inspect rooms carefully to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
-Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged items, missing inventory, or unusual conditions.
-Follow established cleaning procedures and use cleaning products and equipment safely.
-Maintain an organized housekeeping cart and work area.
-Properly handle trash, dirty linens, and other materials.
-Work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications
-HS Diploma or GED
-Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
-Ability to follow detailed instructions and established cleaning procedures.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Professional and courteous demeanor.
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
-Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds when needed.
-Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
